Mothers are a priceless gift from God and a perfect amalgamation of love, devotion and sacrifice. The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable and to celebrate this bond, Mother’s Day is observed every year on 8th of May. The Primary Wing till Gr 5 of our School celebrated this day with great zeal and exuberance to foster the social and emotional health of the learners through motherly love and compassion.

Our little learners made the day special by creating heartwarming video messages, beautifully compiled by the teachers for the wonderful mothers. Mothers were all invited to the school to celebrate this day to make them feel their presence as seen mostly that most of the MOMs’ were house wives and here at Milton Public School They got a chance to perform at the platform and they all participated with full zeal and enthusisam. A myriad of presentations by learners of Grades helped them express their gratitude and respect for their mothers through a virtual event. The highlight of the event was the dazzling ramp walk by our incredible mothers. In the spirit of the day, our tinytots of Grades embraced and later were crowned mothers with a painting handmade as a token of love and appreciation, a vibrant crown, declaring ‘MY MOM IS MY QUEEN’.

SUMMER CAMP : Unplug, Explore, Grow – That’s The Summer Camp Motto.”

On dated 30.05.2025,  the Summer Camp of Milton Public School Avadhpuri Agra  was concluded on the second phase of the program. The children demonstrated the skills they had learnt during the Summer Camp in front of their parents. This included dance, a ramp show based on crafts, Yugraj and Prithviraj’s performance on drums and Casio. Many more Cultural programs were presented by many students.

Former Mayor of Agra Mr. Indrajit Singh Arya was the chief guest in the program,  School founder Mrs. Chitra Raj ji was also present as the special guest and Respected members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Avadh Nagar distributed prizes to the children. School Principal Dr. Prachi Raj encouraged the children and presented her views on the importance of discipline in life and motivated the children. Activity administrator Yogesh Kulshrestha mesmerized everyone by presenting a song on mouth organ. All the members who came to the program were thanked by Mrs Majbeen Khan, The Coordinator Junior Block.

MARATHON: “A Run to Environmental Go Green

On dated 30.05.2025, On the Auspicious Occasion of Closing Ceremony of Simmer Camp, there had been “A Run to Environmental Go Green” at sharp 06:00 am from different junction point where lots of Students Teachers Management  of Milton Public School Avadhpuri Bodla Bichpuri Road Agra and local citizens of Avadhpuri at 6:00 am participated in  Marathon to create awareness about environmental protection! In which the children completed  2 km race. The marathon was inaugurated by Managing Director of Milton Group of School Dr. Rahul Raj Sir .The local citizens were appealed to make Avadhpuri Kalwari a polythene free zone. The local people participated in it with enthusiasm and joy. Dr. Rahul Raj said that if we do not stop tampering with the environment in the coming few years, then the day is not so far when we will have to roam around carrying oxygen cylinders on our shoulders. Emphasis was also laid on the government to stop the production of polythene.

‘Slogan Writing Competition’ was organized for the students of GR 6 to GR 8 on the TOPICS – “Anti-Bullying, Say “NO” to plastic and  “No use of Tobacco, It’s Injurious for health” and “Save our Mother Earth” on 27 April  2025. Participants came up with innovative ideas with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students very creatively wrote different messages using beautiful Calligraphy styles.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY PROGRAM:            MAGIC OF READING

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”The students of MILTON PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated the magic of books with a beautiful assembly on “The Magic of Reading”. In an effort to enlighten the spirit of reading in the young minds, the students presented fun and encouraging stories, songs and dances. Everybody pledged to make books their best friend.  After all there is no better enjoyment than reading.

YOGA DAY:

Yoga not only provides a holistic approach to health and well-being but also maintains a balance between all aspects of life. Yoga as a means to develop the balance among physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Every Saturday, Special morning yoga session is organized for students of classes III XII, wherein they exhibited various Asanas, Pranayama, Surya Namaskar etc. enthusiastically. Zestful students of every class participate in logo making activity and understand the importance of yoga in their daily lives.

The students from Grade III TO GR XII, are demonstrated by Yoga Trainer on various asanas and the Sports teachers discusses the benefits of yoga with them by showing some videos. A beautifully designed PPT showing the importance of yoga and various yogic exercises was also shown to demonstrate the fundamental philosophy of yoga and to make the children aware of its manifold benefits. Overall, it is a great initiative taken by our Principal Dr. Prachi Singh as well by CBSE to help the children understand the importance of yoga in order to achieve a better life physically, mentally and spiritually.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION AT SCHOOL

Amidst the rich harvest,

Across the lush greenery,

Baisakhi has arrived,

In all its majesty – so let’s rejoice and celebrate.”

On 13th April 2025, the students – Second Shift (PRE & PRIMARY BLOCK- TILL GR 5) celebrated the festival of  Baisakhi in high spirits. Well-planned activities to acquaint the students with this harvest festival were carried out in the classrooms at all the class levels. The objective of this activity was to acquaint students about Baisakhi and its significance in our culture and to engage them in the celebration of a harvest festival. Students learnt about the importance of agricultural festivities in India and how agricultural activities mark the onset of a new year and a new beginning. Our Managing Director Dr. Rahul Raj recalled the contribution of the 10th Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh, whose birthday falls on the occasion, and the students narrated important events from His life in class.

 A Day of Pride for Milton Public School proudly organized a special ceremony to honor the Academic Toppers of Session 2025-26. The event celebrated the hard work, focus, and achievements of students who stood first in their respective classes.

While academic success is commendable, we believe it is not the only milestone in life. Every child is unique, and all forms of growth and effort deserve appreciation. This ceremony aimed to inspire all students to keep learning, growing, and striving for their personal best.
