CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES

To promote the holistic development of the student’s Co-curricular activities will be graded on a 3(three) points scale of grading (A-C). No up gradation will be done on the basis of co-curricular activities.

  1. Visual Arts: – Art Education will be assessed on a 3 (three) point scale.
  2. Health & Physical Education:- Sports , Yoga & NCC will be assessed on a three point scale.
  3. Values:-Discipline, Attendance, Sincerity & Behavioral Values will be assessed on a three point scale.

As per the Circular Acad-05/2017 dated- 31/1/17 by CBSE the examination pattern from academic year 2019-20 will be conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure given below.

CLASS: XI-XII (2019-21)

The detail components of the scheme are mentioned below for easy understanding and implementation.

Class XI

  • Two major examinations at the end of each term are conducted in November and March.
  • Periodic Test -I and Periodic Test – II are conducted in the months of September and January.

Class XII

  • Periodic Test – I conducted in the middle of July of and beginning of August.
  • Three major examinations – Mid Term in the month of September followed by Pre-board – I in December and Pre-board – II in January.

Before both the Periodic Tests, one cycle of weekly tests of each subject is completed.
Regular class tests are taken in each subject after the completion of a chapter.

Academic Awards

  • Full Attendance Awards.
  • Stream-wise Toppers of Class XII.
  • Subject-wise Toppers of Class XII.
  • Class-wise Toppers of Class XI

For Class XII

  • Regularity in attendance.
  • Regularity and quality of day to day participation in the class.
  • Opinion of teachers teaching in the class.
  • Written work and projects assigned by the teachers.
  • Performance in the unit tests and terminal examination.

Note:

  • If any exam is shifted from the scheduled dates due to any unforeseen circumstances then it will be mandatory for all to follow changed as per given instructions and no application / excuse for any reason will be entertained for the same.
  • Re-test in PAs/PTs/UTs/Term Exams is only allowed in case of New Admission / On Duty / Medical Leave and with permission from the Principal.
  • In genuine case of absence during examination the Principal will decide on the merit of each case. Decision relating promotion of such cases will be at the sole discretion of the principal (based on the performance in academics, attendance and behavior in the class).
  • The Medical Certificate in case of Medical Leave should be submitted to school within 3 working days of joining the school along-with application from parents.
  • A student will be eligible to appear for class X and XII examination if and only if he/she has at least 75% of attendance for the 1st month preceding the month in which the examination of the Board commences.
